This program provides hands on experience with computer aided drafting and design (CADD). The course curriculum provides individual student instruction to develop basic skills required to work in the CADD field. Emphasis is placed on: General AutoCAD Technology; AutoCAD user interface; AutoCAD drawing editor; configuring AutoCAD; technical drawing concepts including orthographic drawing; isometric and oblique projections and sectioning; basic dimensioning techniques; plotting and prinsting techniques; introduction to model space and paper space concepts and engineering application.

Architectural Drafting is a course in residential architectural drafting using the AutoCAD computer-aided drafting system. Emphasis is placed on residential design and home planning. Assignments will be completed using AutoCAD.

Civil Engineering drafting is a field that deals with plots, plans, site preparation, mapping, legal description of property, drainage, roads, bridges, and anything that has to do with construction projects. In civil drafting you will learn to using the computer-aided drafting system AutoCAD). Emphasis is placed on site construction and required preparations for that planning. Assignments will be completed using AutoCAD.

Our AutoCAD Structural Drafting Program will teach a student the terminology and symbols involved with structural drafting. Through hands-on projects and training a student will be able to draw any structural draft required.

This course program is an advanced course providing customization to the language of Engineering Graphics and interaction with the evolving industrial use of integrated computer aided drafting. The course is designed to help each student develop and refine their ability to use this universal technical language and work on applied computer aided drafting (CAD). Emphasis is placed on: 3-Dimension drawing; External reference drawings; other drawing features and sheet sets.

This program teaches a student how to effectively schedule and track construction projects. They will learn how a project starts, how to input a project, how to edit and update a project and how to manage the project to the end result.

This program teaches a student how to effectively estimate a construction job. They will learn what is involved with estimating, how to estimate a job, how to research and price materials, how to compute required quantities and how to prepare a final estimate.
