This program covers all of the training a student needs to be employed in the machinist trade for both conventional and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining.
The Manufacturing Technology Division at Triangle Academy is designed to provide students with classroom and laboratory experiences in the basic skills of machine operation and the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required for entry level positions in the machine technology field. The program also provides advanced work with machine tools. The student will produce industrial style projects with accuracy, speed, safety,
workmanship and skill. This program includes hands-on, real world experience at our Machine Shop Lab. Training includes Machining Math, Blue Print Reading, Manufacturing Technologies and Modern Machining Principles. The program continues with CNC Programming and Mastercam training. This division offers a Basic Welding and a Mechanical Drafting Program.  

Triangle of Technology Academy, inc. is proud to be a NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) Accredited Training School. NCCER's accreditation process assures students receive quality training based on uniform standards and criteria!

Our Basic Welding program was prepared in cooperation with the American Welding Society(AWS). Triangle Academy hopes to soon add Phase two of the NCCER Welding courses which with Basic Welding would prepare a student to fulfill the competency requirements of the AWS QC-10 and AWS EG2.0-95 Guidelines.

In this program students cover Welding Safety; Oxyfuel Cutting; Base metal preparaton; Weld Quality; SMAW Equipment and setup; SMAW Electrodes and Selection; Beads and Fillet Welds; Groove Welds; Joint Fit-up and alignment; Open V-Groove Welds; Open-root Pipe Welds.
